Koryak Snow Sheep

(ovis nivicola koriakorum)

The Koryak Snow Sheep population is to be found north of the Kamchatka Peninsula on the border to Chukotka. This species, which lives in the area 60° North, is classified as Koryak Snow Sheep.

The hunters will stay in a tent camp. Each hunter has his own guide.We move in the terrain by foot and the hunter should expect to walk a lot.

The average trophy size is 32-35”.

The hunt takes place during the period August-September. The duration of the trip is 12 days, whereas the hunt is 8 days.

Since the reopening of the flights from Anchorage to Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy, this hunt became closer to American hunters. Otherwise flights via Moscow would be an option.
